150th SHOW DAY Saturday 23rd November 2024 ⭐ 9am to 3pm ⭐

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

I hope that this year’s Show can be seen as a tribute to all those who have ever worked to keep our annual event alive and thriving.

150 shows over 160 years is an outstanding record of achievement.

I am very proud to be part of this record and hope that everybody involved in this year’s Show has an enjoyable experience.

The Committee is looking froward to a great day out for our 150th Daylesford Show at Victoria Park Daylesford on Saturday 23rd November, 2023 (9am-3pm).

We again provide entertainment & friendly competition in all the traditional rural agricultural show areas.

I thank everybody for their participation.

See you there.

AG show Competitions

What would an Agricultural Show be without a little local competition.

Daylesford Show competitions:

  • Stock including sheep and poultry
  • Horses including Show Jumping
  • Victorian Dog Championship
  • Homecrafts including cookery, art, homecrafts, flowers, needlework, garden produce
  • Photography

Junior classes as well, so our youngest can join in and perhaps win some prize money. Entry to junior competition classes is FREE.

Entering competitions are a chance to improve your skills or learn new ones or perhaps you will inspire others to take up a craft.

Do you have skills to compete against the best in the State?
If your skills are better than average why not enter a VAS or a Midland Group competition. If you win one of these competitions you will then compete at the next level in the Midland Group and perhaps then even go all the way to State Level competitions.

Entries for Homecrafts, Art, Horticulture and Photography are judged on Friday 22nd November and other competitions are conducted on Show Day.
