VAS (Victorian Agricultural Shows) Competitions
VAS Homecraft, Cookery and Photography Competitions Classes are for exhibitors who produce exhibits of a high quality. These exhibitors aim to win a VAS Class so they can represent Daylesford and District Agricultural Society at the Midland Group level. If they win at the Midland Group level then they represent the Midland Group and compete at the State Level. The winners at each level will receive a prize of either cash or a voucher.

Victorian Agricultural Shows Ltd, shortened to VAS, encompasses 119 affiliates including 100 Victorian rural and regional agricultural societies. VAS is a member-based, not for profit organisations that is dedicated to supporting local communities deliver local hundreds of events in rural and regional Australia. In addition VAS runs 29 state wide competitions, from Livestock to Homecraft to Show Ambassadors. For more information visit the VAS Website.

Purebred standardbred horses who have been registered with Harness Racing Australia and are now re-educated and re-homed as part of the Alabar HERO Program.
